Since last week, in Riteve we already implemented a wide protocol for users and partners protection in compliance with the authorities’ call to face everybody together the public health problem derived from the Covid-19. It includes the procedures of hand washing, constant cleaning of the facilities, the use of alcohol gel in all the inspection lines and common use areas, regulation of the amount of people at the reception; among other measures.
This protocol is constantly updated based on the information provide by the authorities that are handling the crisis. That is why every week; along with the Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (our governing body), it was decided to vary the way in which the internal inspection is done, this is to contribute to the containment of this pandemic.
“Regarding this aspect, we have generated a procedure for the clients to be the ones that perform the internal inspection of the vehicle under the supervision of our inspector, for example: seat belts, seats, controls; among others, always with the purpose of decreasing the interaction between the client, his vehicle and our personnel, looking to prevent the spread of the virus,” explained Jennifer Hidalgo, Assistant Manager of Communication and Social Responsibility of Riteve.
Additionally, for the user of the service of inspections prior to nationalizing the vehicles, we have the alternative to send the documentation previously via email so that our personnel could start working on the file and billing. In this way, when the client comes to the station with the original documents, the assistance area is shorter as well as the stay at the reception of the stations.
“This is a pilot plan that we have been implementing, exclusively for the users of the service of inspections prior to nationalizing the vehicle which proceeding requires more time that the rest of inspections and that; in this emergency, allows us to reduce that stay time at the receptions,” added Hidalgo.
With all these measurements, Riteve renews its commitment with the State of continue giving a service with quality, but under strict measures that help stop the spread of Covid-19.
Also, these protocols will be updated according to the guidelines from the authorities.
